Sree Ramachandra Sharma was born in a musician family, they hail from Warangal District, they belongs to an orthodox Brahmin family where family tradition and customs were given priorities. Sree Ramachandra Sharma did not show much interest to studies and use to play various rhythms on pot utensils and any other articles found by him. His father noticed the tenderness of his fingers playing on various articles and trying to generate various rhythms without any hesitation. His father understood the vivid and luscious god gift possessed by his son which will make a place for himself in Indian Classic music not only in India but around the globe. The musical life of Sree Ramachandra Sharma was put in motion at the tender age of Eight years when he joined his Mridangam Guru Sree Kolanka Laxman Rao at Sree Bhakta Ramadasu Govt. College of Music and Dance, Secunderabad. Sree Ramachandra Sharma learnt Mridangam and traditional Gurukul style by spending most of his time with his Guru learning the intricacies of Mridangam and serving his Guru to further improve his skills. On keen observation of his performances and interest, late Sri Vedantam Sambaiah has offered himself tips of music very frequently.
At a very young age Sree Ramachandra Sharma started giving solo performances on stage and as an accompanist. His performance was appreciated by very eminent musicians.
Sree Ramachandra Sharma was also blessed when he performed before spiritual leaders like Sri Jayendra Saraswathi, Sri Ganapathi Sachidananda Swami and Sri China Jiyyar Swami.
SSree Ramachandra Sharma was invited to perform in several official functions of Governemnt of Andhra Pradesh and Government of India. He was applauded and appreciated when he performed before former Prime Minister late Sri P.V.Narasimha Rao, Governors, Sri Surjit Singh Barnala, Sri Rangarajan and Sri Rameshwar Thakore. He was personally congratulated by former Chief Minister Sri Nara Chandra Babu Naidu.
Sree Ramachandra Sharma regularly performs as “B-High” graded artist with Door Darshan and All India Radio.
Sree Ramachandra Sharma is a great exponent of Mridangam and has not only performed all over India but also toured several countries like USA, Russia, France, West Indies, Brazil, Hong Kong, Bangkok, Singapore, Laos, Vietnam, Qatar, Cambodia and he is a permanent participant of various government sponsored programs through Indian Council of Cultural Relation. As a Member of the troop he performed at Canada, Syria and recently a Nine Hour Non-stop performance as an accompanist in London.
Represented India for the International Drum Festival 2016 held in Egypt in a team of 7 members
In Jan 2015, won precious State Level ‘Telangana Youth Festival Competition’.
Accompanied Mayura Natyam and Simha Nandini onn the Mridangam at Delhi International Art Festival held at Delhi in February 2014.
Played for the Samajawaragamana program telecasted in the TTD channel.
Fortunate to be a part of the winning team RAGA RANJANI HYDERABAD of a successful competition BHAJAN SAMRAT 2 by SANKARA TV (2013).
Fortunate enough to share stage with great Shri Yella Venkateswara Rao in Maa Tv's Naada Vinodam (Competition for all the instruments)grand finale along with co-participants of the successful programme.
Toured all over India and played various programmes under the gracious presence of Sri China Jeeyar Swamy, Sri Sachidananda Bharathi Swamy, Sri Swaroopananda swamy etc. and also on the renowned stages such as Naada Neerajanam (Tirumala), Naadanamana (Mantralayam)etc.
Won many prizes by participating in the College level, University level, District level and also State level Competitions held by the Govt. of Andhra Pradesh.
